I'm Gema.
Profile
I consider myself a Service Desginer, not only because I studied to beocme so, but because I live and breath design. I am continously learning about the discipline and new techniques to get the best out of every project I develop.

I get to combine the best of the Engineering, the technical and pragmatic way of thinking. With the best of the Design side. The wide point of view, the creative way of thinking and the fact of learning from my mistakes.
Skills
I am a really social and open-minded person, because of this, I am great at performing interviews. I can listen carefullly and create a save athmosphere where user feel free to talk. Thereby, I get the best insights, to approach pain and key points, to properly focused the project.

Besides, I am great at leading and being part of teams. Not only because I can communicate effectively, but because I think working in teams, specially in Desing, is the best way to reach and enriching and effective solution. Listening to other's perspective and experiences lead to give it another try to every project, so that it appeals the user better.

Of course, I complement every project graphically. I feel comfortable either developing visual identities and branding or webs and apps.

Why did I get into Service Design?
While I was studying Industrial Design Engineering I got to study most of the different Design disciplines. I discovered Service Design during one of my last courses, and I inmediatly felt in love. The possibility of matching Design techniques and thinking with society was just an inflection point in my career, since, up to the time I had never felt Graphic as my real passion, but as a way of expressing other thoughts.

The other thing that made me love Service and UX Design, was the fact of becoming an expert in each of the projects I develop. My job is not restricted to one specfic field, but it is a cross-wise tool that can improve any kind of business.
